Green Colleges India - Gosaba is a project implemented by WHH and partner Ramakrishna Mission Lokasiksha Parishad in the Sundarban region. The project supports Gosaba Green college to provide skill training to rural youths from the Sunderban islands. Because of its remoteness, the youths (particularly the school dropouts) get very few opportunities for skill training and end up as casual labours or migrate to nearby cities. Here, Green College offer courses which will enhance their employability or help them to start their own business through acquiring or upgrading a skill suitable to rural areas. April 2025 marked the closure of the present phase of the program, and the next phase will commence from May 2025.
