Watch the first in our webinar series, Exploring Contemporary Issues through Global Citizenship Education, ‘Critically Thinking about Critical Minerals’ The webinar explored the growing global demand for critical minerals and its links to extraction, environmental, and human rights injustices, emphasising the importance of critical engagement through GCE. Speakers were, V’cenze Cirefice, Communities Against the Injustice of Mining (CAIM), Lynda O’Sullivan, Co-coordinator, Yes to Life No to MIning (YLNM), and Lydia Moyo from Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA), representing Cornelius Mumba Katiti, Zambian environmental activist.
