2026 Refugee Response Plan for Sudanese refugees πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡© in Libya πŸ‡±πŸ‡Ύ

Today, in consultation with Libyan authorities, UNHCR and partners launched the 2026 Refugee Response Plan for Sudanese refugees in Libya. Since April 2023, an estimated 552,000 Sudanese refugees have arrived in Libya, fleeing persecution and violence with little more than what they could carry. The 2026 plan requires $115.5 million to respond to growing humanitarian needs and to support 667,000 refugees and Libyan host communities. Needs continue to rise.
