Our current food system isn’t working – for people or for the planet. For one thing, there are nearly 800 million people facing chronic hunger, and hundreds of millions of smallholder farmers living in poverty. Meanwhile, the food system is responsible for up to one-third of global emissions.
By adopting circular, regenerative and agroecological practices, we can transition to a food-systems approach that both respects the limits of our planet and ensures the well-being of people, now and in the future.
