Meet Jonathan, founder of Rebana-tex, a social venture in Rwanda transforming banana stem waste into sustainable fabric. With over 3 million tons of bananas produced each year, he saw both a problem and an opportunity. Through mentorship and access to cutting-edge equipment at UniPod Rwanda, Jonathan designed and prototyped machines that turn banana stems into fibers and threads.
