Fifteenth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group of the Basel Convention (OEWG-15)
Geneva, Switzerland, from 23 to 26 June 2026
From the summer heat outside to productive discussions inside, the final day of OEWG-15 reflected the dedication of delegates working to advance the environmentally sound management of waste.
Through side events, technical exchanges and negotiations, participants continued building consensus and sharing solutions to address some of today's most pressing waste challenges.
As the meeting concludes, the commitment continues.
