This preview offers a glimpse into the Tapestry experience "History Carved in Stone"—an immersive, community-led digital journey of the Ceremonial Village of Orongo in Rapa Nui National Park, created by CyArk, World Monuments Fund, and Ma'u Henua. Developed to protect the fragile petroglyphs of Mata Ngarahu while expanding access, the experience weaves together 3D models, oral histories, and artistic interpretations in Rapanui, Spanish, and English. Grounded in extensive digital documentation, including thousands of images and detailed scans, the project demonstrates how advanced technology and local knowledge can come together to safeguard heritage and share its stories with the world.
