Syed, a 35 year-old man from Pakistan, spent five years in Libya including two in detention in complete isolation. During these two years he had to go through a cycle of violence, physical and psychological, to get his freedom back. He knows these traumatic events will affect his mental health for a long time, he knows he need the support of someone to overcome this time of his life, but once on the deck of the Ocean Viking, he also knows that now he can sleep in peace because he will never go back to Libya.
