Within the framework of the ILO Flagship Programme on Building Social Protection Floors, this webinar explored how actuarial tools and methods can strengthen national capacities and contribute to more resilient and sustainable systems. Particular attention was given to the ILO–ISSA Actuarial Service Platform (ASP), which provides access to actuarial models for pensions and health financing (ILO/PENSIONS and ILO/HEALTH), along with technical support and capacity-building services. Moving beyond a purely technical presentation, the session highlighted country perspectives from both current users and institutions exploring adoption.
