His Excellency Ambassador Gautier Mignot, Ambassador of the European Union to Nigeria, paid a courtesy visit to the IITA Headquarters on Monday, 15 June 2026. Accompanied by Professor Leila Ben-Amor Mathieu, Head of Section for Human Development at the EU Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS. The visit forms part of the European Union’s broader engagement with key stakeholders in Nigeria. It will provide an opportunity to reflect on the longstanding partnership between the EU and IITA in science, research, and innovation, while exploring new areas of mutual interest and collaboration.
