Clara Water | Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator (HIA)
This video features an interview with CLARA Water, which is a solar-powered smart device that generates chlorine from salt to disinfect water on-site, providing safe drinking water through automated dosing and remote monitoring.
CLARA Water participated in the Pitch Event of the WFP Innovation Accelerator’s second edition of the Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator (HIA), powered by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in 2025.
HIA is designed to support technology‑driven solutions that address pressing challenges faced by vulnerable populations and humanitarian actors. Through this platform, selected ventures and solution providers receive financial, technical, and methodological support from the WFP Innovation Accelerator and its partner ecosystem: https://innovation.wfp.org/HIA
