PAHO’s Regional Program on Bioethics and Quality and Regulation of Medicines and Health Technologies Unit carried out on June 12, 2026, a new seminar in the series of seminars focused on clinical trials, which is part of PAHO’s Clinical Trial Accelerator Initiative. This session presented PAHO’s recommendations to strengthen ethical preparedness for research in emergencies, and the challenges for their implementation in the Region.
