An aging population, the rise in chronic diseases, public health emergencies, and inequities in access to care require stronger, more responsive health systems. In this context, nursing is essential. With more than seven million professionals in the Region of the Americas, nursing is the cornerstone of care, the mainstay of continuous care, and a central pillar of population health in the Region.
