Emergency Response in Lebanon
More than 800,000 people are now displaced in Lebanon as violence continues to escalate across the country.
Over the past two weeks, thousands of families had to flee their homes in the south. Despite nearby hostilities, schools in Nabatieh Governorate have become collective shelters for families seeking safety.
Action Against Hunger teams travelled from Bekaa to Lebanon’s southern border to support families across seven shelters in Hasbaya district.
As the violence continues, civilians are paying the highest price. We call for de-escalation and the protection of civilians.
