At Vertical Knits in Yucatán, Mexico, more than 1,000 workers paused production to gather for their annual Fair Trade general assembly. They asked questions. They voted. They decided how their Community Development Fund would be used. One of the projects they approved? A mobile health clinic bringing free, preventative medical care to 52 communities.
