The EU generates over 6.95 million tonnes of textile waste every year — and most of it ends up in landfills or incinerators. The EU funded T-REX Project, launched in June 2022, set out to tackle this challenge. This short documentary takes you behind the scenes of the project, where 13 leading stakeholders from across the textile value chain came together to build a blueprint for closed-loop recycling of post-consumer household textile waste.
