Scaling up hepatitis B within triple elimination programmes

Scaling up hepatitis B within triple elimination programmes

Thursday 20 November 13:00-14:30 GMT As part of World Hepatitis Testing Week 2025, WHA convened an expert panel to discuss how different stakeholders can collectively work together to drive progress towards triple elimination of the vertical transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B. Doing so will save thousands of lives each year and mitigate the most common cause of chronic hepatitis B – but will require simplified access to testing for pregnant women, and new ways to scale up vital services.
