Central to the upgrade is transforming the heating system from gas to electric, replacing gas-fired boilers with high-efficiency heat pumps. Through smart engineering, our design halves the building’s heating demand, reduces energy use and delivers asset electrification that supports the transition to net zero – all without major infrastructure upgrades. The project delivers clear sustainability gains, such as: ✳️ Heating demand cut by 50% compared to the original system 🌱 Comfortable indoor temperatures maintained with lower water heating (75°C down to 55°C) 💡 Smart monitoring and power distribution systems that optimise efficiency
