Empowering Communities through ISA’s Demonstration Projects Cuba

At the Hatuey Indian Experimental Station in Cuba, the International Solar Alliance (ISA) has deployed a solar-powered water pumping system to support irrigation and agricultural productivity. Delivering over 300 cubic metres of water daily, this system ensures a consistent water supply for crops while promoting sustainable practices, including biodiesel production. Through such demonstration projects, ISA is enabling clean energy adoption in agriculture, boosting productivity, and fostering resilient rural economies.
