The Solar Compass – Global Webinar Series is a flagship knowledge initiative of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), designed to bridge cutting-edge research with real-world solar deployment. This webinar session focuses on Integrated Solar PV Applications for Food, Water, and Landscapes, bringing together leading researchers and global experts to explore innovative solutions such as agrivoltaics, floating photovoltaic (FPV) systems, and rural solar innovations. Drawing from research published in the Solar Compass Special Issue, the discussion highlights how solar energy can: Optimize land and water use Enhance agricultural productivity Strengthen food–energy–water nexus planning Enable climate-resilient and resource-efficient deployment strategies Featuring presentations from internationally acclaimed authors and thought leaders, the session provides practical insights, cross-country learnings, and pathways for scaling integrated solar solutions across diverse geographies.
