As families in Hawaii deal with the aftermath of largescale storms that hit over the weekend, CORE's emergency response team is on the ground in Oahu responding. Flood waters receded enough on Sunday to allow people to return to evacuated homes and assess damage. Boiled water advisories remain in place so our team is prioritizing getting drinking water out to impacted communities. We're also identifying vulnerable households to deliver cash assistance and continuing to support local partners on Maui. More heavy rain is projected, which is very concerning given the ground is already saturated and prone to more flooding.
