Over the weekend, CORE hosted a groundbreaking event for its second brick-and-mortar, The Center for Community in Altadena to commemorate a year of intensive response work and announce the next phase of long-term recovery. Designed by Shigeru Ban Architects and located at 2231 Lincoln Avenue, the 1,600 square feet center will serve as both an architectural landmark and a functional resilience building center, offering mental health services, educational workshops, and community programming.
