This Earth Day, CORE is celebrating the small, everyday actions that keep communities safe and prepared for whatever lies ahead. We know that the moments before and after disasters are just as important as the disaster itself. That’s why we work side by side with communities to rebuild in sustainable ways that protect their families and futures. Progress doesn't happen overnight. It's shaped by the educators, local leaders, students, and neighbors who show up, day after day, for the places they call home. It’s the farmers and fishers in Haiti learning new ways to work the land and sea, the families in North Carolina rebuilding their homes to withstand the next storm, the community members in California clearing debris to mitigate the impact of another wildfire.
