At the Syria-Lebanon border, thousands of families are on the move due to the Middle East Emergency—fleeing their homes in search of safety and carrying almost nothing. Since mid-March 2026, up to 140,000 people have crossed from Lebanon into Syria. Half are children. CORE's Syria Country Manager, Kinan, is there right now.
