The CCCCC: "Building resilience. Securing our future."
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre, through its role as a centre of Excellence, coordinates the Caribbean region’s response to climate change. The Centre, based in Belize, supports all the people of the Caribbean as they address the impacts of climate variability. The Centre’s services include Project Development and Management, mobilization of climate finance, capacity building, research and development and the collection and management of climate data and information for evidence-based decision-making.
The Centre is driven by the mandate given to it by the CARICOM Heads of Government and the philosophy established in its foundation-setting strategies and policies. In 2020, the Centre designed and developed new strategies and policies with updated objectives to adequately plan for the years ahead.
