Protecting Heart Health to Save 100 Million Lives
Cardiovascular disease is the world's leading killer, causing 20 million deaths each year. For eight years, we've worked with more than 50 partners to improve cardiovascular health, making effective blood pressure care available at the primary health care level and passing policies that improve the food supply and empower healthier diets. This work has saved more than 9 million lives from cardiovascular disease, and improved the lives of millions more.
This video celebrates the impact of our Cardiovascular Health Initiative and reaffirms our commitment to build a healthier future. Together with our partners, we aim to save 100 million lives by 2050.
