#14 - Applying the Green List to Marine Protected Areas
Cécile Fattebert, Programme Officer for Protected and Conserved Areas, explains how the Green List Programme is helping raise the quality and visibility of marine protected areas, an ecosystem vital for climate regulation and human well-being. With support from the France–IUCN Partnership, IUCN has strengthened communication, capacity development and technical guidance, creating strong momentum across the Western Indian Ocean as more sites in Kenya, Tanzania, Seychelles and Madagascar engage in the Green List process.
