Connecting Children to Care: Pediatric Behavioral Health in Maine
Across Maine, children and families face real challenges accessing timely behavioral health care. The Maine Pediatric & Behavioral Health Partnership (MPBHP) is working to change that.
Through a statewide collaboration between health care providers, behavioral health specialists, schools, and community partners, MPBHP is strengthening the systems that support children, bringing expertise closer to home and improving care where it’s needed most.
At the heart of this work is a commitment to connection: connecting providers to specialists, connecting systems that have traditionally worked in silos, and, ultimately, connecting children and families to the care they deserve.
This video offers an overview of how MPBHP is expanding access to pediatric behavioral health care across Maine through consultation, care coordination, and education, including case-based learning that supports providers in real time.
