Education in Action: Supporting Pediatric Behavioral Health in Maine

What does it look like to learn in real time while supporting real patients? Through the Maine Pediatric & Behavioral Health Partnership (MPBHP), providers across Maine are coming together to strengthen pediatric behavioral health care through shared learning and collaboration. In these interactive sessions, participants engage in brief teaching and real-world case discussions, guided by a multidisciplinary team of experts. Primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, school-based professionals, and care coordinators all contribute, learning from each other while building practical skills they can use right away. This is more than education; it’s a space to ask questions, share challenges, and connect across roles and regions. By creating consistent opportunities for learning and connection, MPBHP is helping providers feel more confident, more supported, and better equipped to care for children and families in their own communities.
