With the support of @Luxdevelopment, ADA is supporting smallholder farmers in Western Rwanda to put in place sustainable agroforestry practices in partnership with the microfinance institution @inkungacredit1544 and the research institute @CIFOR-ICRAF. By planting trees alongside traditional crops, the farmers can benefit from tree-derived products such as fruit and timber as an additional source of income while fighting soil degradation and erosion.
