The KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) is a leading health research partnership between KEMRI, the Wellcome Trust, and the University of Oxford. Based in Kilifi, Kenya, with hubs in Nairobi and Mbale, Uganda, we have been generating evidence that shapes health policy and practice across Africa and beyond since 1989. We work through strong national, regional, and global partnerships to deliver high-quality and innovative science and develop health research capacity in Africa.
