Epilepsy Pathway Innovation in Africa (EPInA) Project Video - Stories of resilience
Kenya is making meaningful progress in addressing the burden of epilepsy through strengthened collaboration between the Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization (WHO), the KEMRI–Wellcome Trust Research Programme, and national partners under the Epilepsy Pathway Innovation in Africa (EPInA) project.
As part of this journey, partners came together for a high‑level dissemination meeting and a two‑day workshop focused on implementing the WHO’s Intersectoral Global Action Plan (IGAP) to improve care for epilepsy and other neurological disorders.
This video shares powerful stories of resilience, of individuals who refuse to be defined by epilepsy, who rise after adversity, and who use their voices to uplift others.
