Returned Migrant Women: Contributing to Social Cohesion in Choloma, Honduras
A story from the Trinational PBF Project that, through the testimonies of women, narrates the evolution of the role of returned migrant women in Choloma, Honduras. From an early process of psychosocial support, self‑care, and entrepreneurship training carried out during the first years of the project (2021–2023), along with financial and marketing training received in 2024, these women experienced changes in knowledge and attitudes that led to the creation and articulation of a Network/Association of Returned Migrant Women. Through this network, and by integrating themselves into the community’s social fabric, they are now positioning themselves through leadership and advocacy actions, coordinating with institutions and other local actors.
