Millions of Children in Pakistan Are Exposed to Dangerous Lead Levels

Millions of children in Pakistan have unsafe levels of lead in their blood. Lead exposure can damage a child’s developing brain, lowering IQ and increasing the risk of learning difficulties and behavioural problems. There is no safe level of exposure. Protecting children from this toxic threat requires urgent, coordinated action to eliminate sources of lead in their environment.
