Behind every organisation there is a team working quietly to keep everything running smoothly. At RCC, that team is led by Alma Gadžić, Head of Administration. On International Women’s Day, we asked Alma how being a woman shaped her career and what message she would send to young women starting theirs. Her answer was simple: previous generations have already done a lot, now it’s up to the next ones to go out and get what they want. While it is true that we came a long way so far, the data shows there is still work to do. 📊 In the Western Balkans Six: •⁠ ⁠51% of women are employed compared to 50% of men •⁠ ⁠Women earn 9 to 12% less than men •⁠ ⁠Women’s pensions are around 40% lower 📊 RCC has published some interesting data on women and work in the Western Balkans Six.
