We are launching the campaign "Choosing to Be Ukrainian" to thank every person who makes this conscious choice. It is thanks to this choice that Ukraine continues to hold strong, despite serious demographic challenges: low birth rates, large-scale migration, an aging population, and a shrinking workforce. This initiative is part of the Demographic Development Strategy until 2040, developed by the Ministry of Social Policy and approved by the Government in 2024. This video begins at dawn — the very time when, more than three years ago, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. Three years later, at this same hour, new lives continue to be born in Ukraine. This is a symbolic starting point that emphasizes the continuity and strength of the Ukrainian choice. This communication campaign is initiated by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine with the support of UNFPA in Ukraine, and the Government of the United Kingdom.
