FAO AGRIS Open Data Set (ODS): Expanding Access to Global Agricultural Knowledge

The FAO AGRIS Open Data Set (ODS) provides free access to millions of agricultural research records, supporting global knowledge sharing and innovation. As a recognized Digital Public Good, the ODS includes a large portion of FAO AGRIS records, enriched with structured metadata and links to full texts. All data follows FAIR principles—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable—ensuring it can be easily discovered and used. By contributing metadata, institutions increase the visibility and impact of their research while retaining full recognition. The ODS is available in Dublin Core XML format, enabling data-driven research, machine learning and new applications. Join a global network of knowledge and make your data part of FAO AGRIS.
