Outreach and Awareness-raising on POPs for the General Public and Private Sector

On 19 May 2026 (14:00-15:30 CEST), the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), as part of the GEF-funded and UNEP-led Global NIP Update Project (GEF ID 10785), hosted a workshop on Outreach and Awareness-raising on POPs for the General Public and Private Sector. The workshop presented outreach packages for the private sector and general public to support stakeholder engagement in NIP development and implementation. It provided practical guidance and simulations on adapting these tools for inventory data collection, stakeholder cooperation and risk communication, while also offering a platform to share country experiences in POPs outreach and awareness-raising.
