Accelerating Adaptation Finance: Innovative Approaches to Scaling Resilience and Impact marks NDB's first side event at COP30. This session will take place on 11 November 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 pm (Brasilia Standard Time), at the COP30 Joint MDB Pavilion in the COP Hangar, Belém Convention Center. Organised by the New Development Bank, it forms part of the official MDB Pavilion programme and contributes to the broader COP30 focus on accelerating adaptation finance and operationalising the Global Goal on Adaptation. The event will bring together diverse perspectives from The Adaptation Fund, NDB's Brazil office, the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), the People’s Bank of China, and G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group to explore how different actors are addressing the structural barriers that hold back adaptation investment. The aim is to provide a dynamic and solutions-oriented dialogue, generating insights that can inform MDB strategies and strengthen collaboration across institutions, governments, and communities.
