Frequent power outages, time spent in shelters, and lack of proper sleep are causing significant learning gaps in the education of Ukrainian children. To help mitigate these gaps, "Easy Camp" summer camps were held during the summer for 150 7th-grade students from the frontlines of the Zaporizhzhia region. Mondo tested the camp-based approach for the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science, which, in collaboration with local municipalities, is implementing the model on a broader scale. The summer camps were implemented in cooperation with the charity foundation "East SOS" and supported by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
