Scaling AI in Agriculture Starts with Trust

There’s a rush to “do something” with AI in agriculture right now. But as Dr. Piyush Singla (Secretary IT, Government of Jammu and Kashmir) points out, scale doesn’t come from momentum, it comes from relevance on the ground. What works in one region may completely fail in another. Different crops, different conditions, different realities. And unless solutions actually fit into farmers’ lives, adoption won’t follow. In the public system, scale is not about how many pilots you run, it’s about whether people trust and use what you build.
