The NEA hosted a special launch webinar celebrating the publication of the Rising Stars Special Issue of Nuclear Technology journal. This milestone edition showcases peer-reviewed papers authored by participants of the first Rising Stars workshop, highlighting their research across the nuclear science and technology landscape. The Special Issue represents not only a significant academic achievement for the authors, but also the continued success of the Rising Stars programme in encouraging and empowering female future leaders in the nuclear field. Participants from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Rising Stars workshops participated in the discussions, reinforcing the growing Rising Stars community. By bringing together past and current participants, the webinar aimed to build momentum, inspire collaboration, and spark new ideas for the future.
