Laila Atshan is a Palestinian therapist who works as Staff Counselor in UNICEF's Middle East and North Africa regional office. She is currently based in Amman, Jordan. Inspired by her ability to touch people's hearts and help them process traumas and heal, we followed Laila for 2 weeks capturing moments of her daily life. We watched and filmed as she crossed borders to meet with colleagues and friends. We witnessed how she connected with people in diverse communities anywhere she passed by. On December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we are excited to present Laila's story. Her spirit inspires and pushes us in our commitment to do more and do better for our employees, making UNICEF a more diverse and inclusive workplace for all. In this video, Laila explains in her own words how she approaches life and work, and what motivates to continue delivering results for children.
