In poor, urban areas of Africa, life can be hard as a girl. Unplanned pregnancy, HIV infection and sexual violence are very real threats. She’s overlooked, stigmatised and lost. Tiko works in key countries across Africa to build an ecosystem of care around this girl. We connect providers in her community so that Tiko becomes her portal to trusted services, products and information, at no cost to her. She’s engaged and supported by her peers, and uses Tiko to safeguard her health. Girls rate providers, driving performance and encouraging repeat care. Behind the scenes, Tiko harnesses real-time data to meet her evolving needs and achieve verified outcomes. In 2024, Tiko supported more than 1 million young people to shape the future they choose and by 2030, aims to impact at least 5 million lives each year.
