At the Mayors Innovation Studio at Bloomberg CityLab 2026, architect Lord Norman Foster joined local leaders for a conversation on the future of urban design — and the ideas shaping more livable, connected, and resilient cities. Drawing on a lifetime of reimagining the built environment, Foster reflects on the role of architecture in public life, the importance of thoughtful design, and how cities can better serve the people who call them home.
