The ocean is one of our planet’s greatest resources — and protecting it is a responsibility we all share. At today’s @EarthshotPrize Impact Assembly co-hosted with Prince William (@princeandprincessofwales), we announced Bloomberg Philanthropies’ additional $260 million commitment to advance ocean conservation around the world. From restoring coral reefs and supporting the creation of more marine protected areas to combating illegal fishing, this next phase of the Bloomberg Ocean Initiative will help safeguard marine ecosystems and support the communities that depend on them.
