As CCCM practitioners, we must enhance our efforts to protect women and girls everywhere that displacement occurs. To do so, we must ensure the engagement of women and girls at all stages of humanitarian response by promoting their participation and strengthening our partnerships with Women Led Organizations. We must continue to mainstream gender equality and GBV risk mitigation throughout all levels of intervention. It's crucial to consult with women and girls, listen to their needs and concerns, and guarantee their safe access to services and information. We must work closely with them to identify and mitigate GBV risks, support survivors who disclose violence, and refer them safely to GBV services. Enhancing our cooperation across sectors, particularly with specialized GBV actors, is essential to ensure women and girls are not exposed to further harm.
