The Global CCCM Cluster, the Mine Action Area of Responsibility (AoR) and the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) organized on the 2nd of October an event on the occasion of the publication of a new collaboration tip sheet on mainstreaming Mine Action essentials and integrating Explosive Ordnance Risk Education into CCCM approaches. You can access this new resource on the Cluster website: https://www.cccmcluster.org/resources/cccm-mine-action-and-eore-strengthening-safety-and-protection… This joint product of the Global CCCM Cluster, the Mine Action AoR and the GICHD is designed to support CCCM practitioners in integrating EORE and mine action essentials into their operations and to foster cross-sectoral cooperation. It builds on the outcomes of an agencies’ roundtable held last October at the GICHD and aims to strengthen collaboration across sectors to ensure safer environments for displaced populations.
