After decades of struggling with an inadequate wastewater drainage system, residents of the Tilava and Ivanići settlements in the Municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo have finally gained access to a functional sewage network. More than 200 households are now connected to the city’s wastewater system, eliminating septic tanks that for years posed risks to both public health and the environment.
