Sexual violence is widespread in armed conflicts, but it is not inevitable. As needs grow, services shrink, and survivors face fear, stigma, and silence. We work to prevent violence, reduce stigma, and support safe access to care. As we mark the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, we remind parties to conflicts that this crime is always forbidden.
